Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is transmitted to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Madison County Court Docket does not keep or record those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, we retain the message as needed to answer it. We do not disclose that correspondence beyond our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers may receive routine technical information whenever a visitor loads a page, including:
- The date and time of each page request
- The referring website, when one is available
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them
- Device type and operating system
- Browser type and version
- The device IP address
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. We use them with analytics services to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages receive visits and where users leave. You may block cookies through browser controls. Disabling them can cause some website functions to behave differently.
What We Do With This Data
- Route a search request to the selected partner service
- Find and correct technical faults
- Measure which material is useful and what needs improvement
- Operate the website and improve page speed
- Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Madison County Court Docket does not host, sell, maintain, or compile a database of dockets or personal case records. It publishes general directions to Search ARCourts, the Madison County Circuit Clerk, the Madison County District Court Clerk, and the courts that keep official files. Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19 governs access to Arkansas court records. The Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, Ark. Code Ann. §§25-19-101 through 111, does not override a sealed record, court rule, or confidentiality law. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports, and this website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes that appear on some pages. Information entered there is handled under that provider’s privacy policy rather than this one. Each provider controls its own retention, processing, and disclosure practices. Read the applicable policy before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Search ARCourts, clerk and court pages, legal-aid resources, or outside search tools. Once you follow an external link, the other website’s privacy terms control the visit. Review those terms before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select targeted ads. Such tracking occurs on their services and is not controlled by Madison County Court Docket.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Data may be provided only to limited categories of recipients, such as:
- Analytics vendors that measure use and performance
- Search providers that process a query you submit
- Advertising networks that serve ads on the website
- Government or law-enforcement authorities responding to a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
We use customary safeguards for the information under our control. No system connected to the internet can be guaranteed secure, however. We work to protect collected data but cannot promise that a breach or unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
This website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If we learn that a minor supplied personal data, we will remove it promptly.
Your Data Rights
Rights concerning data held by this private website may depend on the law where you live. The Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, Ark. Code Ann. §§25-19-101 through 111, including §25-19-105, concerns access to qualifying government records and does not create a general right to private website data. Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19 separately controls public access to court records. Where applicable law grants rights over information we hold about you, you may:
- Request deletion of eligible personal data
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Request a copy of eligible information we retain
- Object to certain processing when the law permits
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this privacy policy. A revised policy will be posted here, and the effective date will change to show when the new terms apply. Review this page periodically if you want to follow those changes.
Effective date: August 14, 2026
